WaveTower speaker

Taking music back to its natural or soothing form, industrial designer Stefanie Koehler has developed a sustainable speaker named “WaveTower” that not only complements trendy living spaces with its sleek looks but also helps in sustaining the environment. The speaker system for the iPod comes integrated with a fuel cell that runs on water, letting you enjoy the surround sound in a more eco-friendly manner than ever before. When the fuel cell is exposed to water, a small chemical reaction occurs to provide a stable current to power the speaker. The tower speaker is not only eco-friendly but pocket-friendly as well, as it reduces the electricity consumption by a huge margin.
